A light/juggling performance by Koja Huneck
CM_30 is minimalistic circus, a contemplative walk through the world of colors. The abstract solo piece by the german circus artist Kolja Huneck invites the audience to intense perception and relaxation. He approaches the threshold between fine arts and circus in a poetical juggling performance. CM_30 questions traditional expectations towards circus and juggling and dissolves the boundary between audience and artist. Everyone present contributes to the common rituals of creating and viewing. The artist becomes a spectator and the viewer becomes a light artist. Juggling itself is the painting tool in a simple space. The music specially composed by the artist Rutger Zuydervelt contributes to the play of light and color.
The title CM_30 symbolizes the size of the props, various discs and lamps, each 30cm in diameter.
CM_30 is created for theater stages and spaces such as galleries and museums: a meditative object manipulation experience based on the beauty of light, shadow and reflections.
